About the College/Unit/Department | Founded in 2005, the College of Public Health is located on the University of Georgia's Health Sciences Campus. The College consists of four departments and three specialized institutes. The department is located in newly renovated facilities that house faculty, staff and students. The College of Public Health is actively engaged in community outreach activities. |

Position Summary | This Director of Communications will develop and advance strategic communication efforts for the University of Georgia College of Public Health as well as supervise members of the CPH Communications Office. The Director reports directly to the dean and works in close coordination and cooperation with Dean's Office units, College leadership, faculty, staff, and students across the College and the University. The position supervises all college marketing and communications efforts to promote the College's mission and vision. The Director manages the planning, execution, and evaluation of all strategic communications, including editorial content, digital communications, and internal and external marketing campaigns, in alignment with the College and University strategic messaging and marketing strategies. The Director leads all branding and reputation management efforts to support the College's recruitment and reputational goals, ensuring consistent visual and messaging brand standards across the College, as well as providing guidance to the CPH community and external vendors. |
