Title: Account Manager - Commercial Lines
Reports To: Senior Vice President, Underwriting
Required License: Property & Casualty license
Location: Honolulu, Kahului, Kamuela, Hilo, Lihue, HI - Hybrid (2 days in person) (Depending on experience, remote can be negotiable)
Classification: Exempt, Full-Time
Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm


Overview:
A rapidly growing insurance agency is seeking a driven and experienced Account Manager to join the team and play a vital role in driving business growth.
You will be responsible for developing and servicing client accounts, ensuring a seamless experience and maximizing client satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not are Limited to:
Client Management:
* Foster strong relationships with assigned clients, becoming their trusted advisor on insurance needs.
* Proactively manage assigned accounts, ensuring timely renewals and addressing client inquiries.
* Assist clients with requests for certificates, policy changes, cancellations, and claims submissions.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files within the agency management system.

Business Development:
* Collaborate with Producers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
* Assist with assembling and presenting proposals to potential clients.
* Secure client signatures, collect payments, and manage follow-up activities.

Account Servicing:
* Coordinate and implement the delivery of agency and carrier services to clients.
* Prepare summaries of insurance coverage, schedules, and proposals for client review.
* Monitor policy audits and facilitate any necessary corrections.
* Analyze client contracts and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.

Teamwork:
* Adhere to the agency's core values and code of ethics.
* Uphold the agency's established procedures and data management systems.
* Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:
* Property & Casualty license
* 5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance (preferred).
* Strong understanding of business insurance coverage and premium rating methods.
* Proven ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in agency management systems and relevant software.
* Ability to travel occasionally to meet with clients.
