Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior/Lead Scheduler, we'll count on you to:

  • Provide full time support to the Honolulu Authority of Rapid Transit while located on-site in Honolulu.
  • Assist the program with planning and monitoring all aspects of the project, with high energy and great attention to detail.
  • Oversee schedule management activities, including the review of internal schedules and contractor schedules.
  • Develop and analyze deviations from baseline in the Project Master schedule and propose corrective actions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals from diverse backgrounds and with varying experience.
  • Monitor, review and report to the client on the status of schedules with regard to construction contract schedule compliance.
  • Validate and report on time impacts, scope change impacts, and delays to enable early identification of risks, driving transparency and predictability.
  • Assist in planning future projects and phases of work and staffing.
  • Develop interfaces between schedulers, cost, and risk management teams to inform accurate spend forecasting, risk identification, and cost loadings.
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent technical degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Construction Scheduling
  • Experience coordinating multiple sources of schedule inputs and performance data into a master schedule.
  • Experience building critical path schedules.
  • High proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • This role is located on-site in Honolulu

The expected compensation range for this position is $113,000-$162,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
