Job Description

Primary Purpose of Job
Assists an assigned Financial Consultant (FC) or Associate Financial Consultant (AFC) in the sales and servicing of investment and insurance products.


Major Job Accountabilities
*Provides support to assigned FC(s) in servicing their book of business and preparing documentation for presentations.
*May conduct presentations and solicit prospective customers for investment and insurance products and services in assigned branches.
*Contacts all assigned leads and branch referrals for appointments and sales presentations. Tracks and reports results to branches and Investment Services management.
*Conducts branch meetings and training on a regular basis for all assigned branches.
*Assists FC(s) in overseeing, training, and mentoring licensed branch employees in assigned branches.
*Determines customer suitability for investment and insurance products by using the financial profile worksheet or its equivalent and analyzing the customer's financial status.
*Makes the appropriate recommendation to customers based upon the customer's needs and financial status.
*Works with FC(s) to meet production and revenue goals as determined by management.


Experience Required
*At least one (1) year of direct sales experience.


Required Skills or Training
*Able to work during the business hours of assigned bank branches.
*Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with both individuals and groups.
*Demonstrates competency in use of computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email applications, and internet search engines.


Professional Certifications, Licenses, And/or Registration Requirements
*Current Series 6 and 63 securities license.
*Current State of Hawaii life and health insurance licenses or must obtain State of Hawaii life and health insurance licenses within 45 days of hire.
*Valid US driver's license and access to transportation.
