Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Civil Project Engineer, we'll count on you to:

  • Take responsibility for performing complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
  • Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed
  • Function as a technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as needed
  • Supervise and mentor a small staff of professionals and technicians as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred but will consider Mechanical, Environmental and General Engineering degrees
  • Minimum 5yrs of experience performing civil engineering design including design calculations, specifications, and construction drawings
  • PE or ability to obtain prior to hire
  • Familiarity with CAD and/or BIM software
  • Ability to work independently and with a project team to task completion
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $71,368.50 - $101,955.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
